Nominate an Outstanding Leader for the AAUW Achievement Award

The AAUW Educational Foundation presents the biennial AAUW Achievement Award to a woman of outstanding achievement in an academic or professional field. While the award has no age limit or restriction on the recipient’s field, it is typically given to a mature woman whose accomplishments span 10 or more years. An honorarium of $10,000 accompanies the award, which is presented at the Foundation Night Banquet during AAUW's national convention. Past winners include Madeleine Albright, Gloria Steinem, Johnetta Cole, and Sandra Day O'Connor. Nominations are due Nov. 1, 2005.
